Quanex is seeking a Drop Mill Operator to cool, mix, and process compounds through the mill while meeting specification and quality requirements.
The role emphasizes strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, safe operation of complex machinery, batch identification, routine cleaning, forklift use, and willingness to OT including weekends; growth and benefits are offered. 2nd shift hours and Monday–Friday schedule apply.
The primary requirements of the Drop Mill Operator are to cool off, properly mix and process compounds through the mill within allowable specifications.

The hourly rate for this position is $18 per hour, plus $1.00/hour shift premium for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
