Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Formal education/training in child development is preferred.
• Experience: Previous experience in child care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe drop-in center environment for children under the age of 6.
• Oversee the safety of children at the center.
• Create educational and fun activities for the children.
• Ensure that the children’s needs are met, including changing diapers, toileting, snacks and access to toys.
• Monitor interaction among the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents of the children.
• Supervise volunteers in the nursery, ensuring they assist with child care.
