Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking an experienced Drone Operations Manager to own end-to-end operations at drone delivery hubs in the Maryland area. You will lead the on-site commercial operations center, supervising managers and staff, and ensuring safe, efficient flight operations and fulfillment.

Collaborate with customer teams and technical functions to drive ultra-fast delivery experiences while managing schedules, training, and compliance in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with staffing lifecycle including interviewing, hiring, performance management, and terminations.
• Experience in a people management or leadership role with coaching and developing others.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of operations.
• Demonstrated success applying Lean methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operation at drone delivery hubs and lead the Prime Air commercial ops center.
• Manage all aspects of commercial ops including fulfillment center, drone maintenance, spare parts, and flight operations.
• Partner with customer-facing teams and with Training, Compliance, Product, Engineering, IT, Facilities, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to drive a highly efficient operation.
