Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Ground Handler to support drone delivery operations by handling equipment, batteries, and related components while following safety procedures.

You will monitor the surrounding airspace, assist with basic warehouse tasks, manage inventory, and engage with community members about our operations.

This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long shifts, ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Experience in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to travel to local sites up to 25% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support daily drone operations by handling and organizing equipment, including batteries and related components
• Monitor airspace in the area of operations and report any potential hazards or obstacles
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks including inventory management and package preparation
• Execute standard operating procedures while maintaining safety and compliance standards
• Engage positively with community members and address basic inquiries about our operations
• Document and report operational activities using standard templates and tools
