Job summary

Austin Powder is seeking a Technical Representative to lead project management for blasting services across the LLC/Region. You will deliver technical support, training, and advanced blast design to customers and teams, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on every site.

The role requires hands-on field work, drone-certified capabilities, and frequent travel to customer sites with tight coordination to optimize blasting results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 4+ years of blasting experience.
• A certified blaster or ability to earn certification within 12 months.
• Ability to travel up to 50–70% within the LLC/Region.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical assistance including mine planning, blast design, surveying, and post-blast analysis.
• Maintain safe, compliant work sites and align with company policies.
• Travel to customer sites as required and on short notice.
• Train and certify LLC/Region blasting and technical staff as directed.
• Interface with public and agencies on blasting regulations.
