AUSTIN POWDER COMPANY in Midland, Arkansas is looking for a technical specialist to provide advanced support for blasting teams and customers. This position involves mine planning, blast modeling, and ensuring safety compliance on site.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering or at least 4 years of relevant industry experience. A key requirement is being a licensed drone pilot. The role may involve up to 70% travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Possesses Austin Powder Company Blasting Certification or to be earned within 12 months.
• Able to work in rough terrains and various weather conditions.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and methods.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical assistance to blasting teams and customers.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify safety and regulatory concerns.
• Assist in training and development of blasting and technical team members.
