Austin Powder Company in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Technical Representative to manage technical blasting services across the LLC/Region. You will provide expert support, training, and drone-enabled data collection to promote safe, efficient, and profitable blasting operations for our customers.
Key duties include mine planning, blast design, survey and mapping, post-blast analysis, and coordinating with the regional blasting team. Travel up to 50–70% may be required.

Job Summary The Technical Representative is responsible for providing project management for our technical and blasting services within the LLC/Region. They will provide technical expertise, support, and training to LLC/Regional and customer personnel to promote the advancement of our products, services, technologies and blasting techniques to meet the needs of our customers. The Technical Representative is responsible to help improve sales and profitability by driving safe, consistent, and predictable blasting results. The Technical Representative will report directly to the LLC/Region Technical Manager.
This position requires working in the elements as well as the rough terrains of the job sites, and will be exposed to dust, noise, oils, greases, and other debris. Ability to walk, stand, sit, use hands to operate controls and work with tools, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear. Travel may be up to 50% - 70% within the LLC/Region.
A completed bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering or 4+ years of relevant industry experience as a certified blaster.
