Applied Intuition is seeking a Robotic Software Engineer to design and integrate autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems across hardware and software domains. You will deploy autonomy algorithms in SIL, HIL, and live test environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams for defense and commercial customers.

The role emphasizes hardware‑software integration, debugging, and robust system performance.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Robotics, CS or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with robotic systems and integration.
• Experience with C++ and Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot and/or PX4).
• Familiarity with Ethernet, UART/RS232, SPI/QSPI, I2C; Docker and Linux environments.
• Experience with git workflows and CI/CD tools; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate autonomy capabilities across defense problems.
• Integrate autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and hardware platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues for high reliability.
• Collaborate with autonomy engineers for service-oriented architectures.
• Support live flight test of autonomy software on UAVs and demo to customers.
