Qualifications

• BS or MS in Robotics, CS or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of hands-on robotics experience (hardware, software, integration).
• Experience with C++ (preferred).
• Experience with Pixhawk autopilots (ArduPilot/PX4).
• Experience with comms buses: UART/RS232/RS422/RS485, SPI/QSPI, I2C, Ethernet.
• Docker, containerized deployments, and Linux-based OS (RHEL/Ubuntu).
• Git, VS Code, GitLab experience.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% for on-site work.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adapt and develop modular autonomy capabilities across defense problems.
• Integrate and deploy autonomy solutions onto embedded Linux and hardware platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex integration and software issues for reliability.
• Support live flight tests of autonomy software on UAVs.
• Collaborate with DoD warfighter domain experts and 3rd party UAS vendors.
• System-level setup, testing, and validation (SIL/HIL).
• Collaborate on SOA software and inter-process messaging for autonomous UASs.
