Job summary

Flytrex is expanding its Production Manufacturing operations in Pilot Point, TX. As an Assembly Technician, you will assemble components for the Flytrex Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS), perform testing, and ensure compliance with design specifications and QMS standards.

You will work with the supply chain team at the Israeli Headquarters and may travel domestically or internationally. A strong engineering background and ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience with small electronic systems, electrical circuitry, motor systems, or related aircraft/UAS rotorcraft expertise.
• Foundational understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing applications.
• Preferred degree: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Aviation Management; or equivalent experience.
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate professionally.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and perform sub-assembly operations per work instructions.
• Conduct testing, conformity evaluations, and quality control per QMS standards.
• Assist with audits and compliance to regulatory guidelines and customer specs.
• Set up fixtures, operate tools, and use measuring instruments for QC checks.
• Document audit findings and results in standardized reports.
• Travel for domestic and international assignments as needed.
