Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer - Driving Patrol in Sparks, NV. This full-time role requires conducting driving patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and supporting access awareness with strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: valid driver’s license, customer service experience, guard card/license preferred, access control/badge experience preferred, 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check and drug screening as condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site policies and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and security concerns; document observations and report to site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry/exit, verify credentials, and support access control per post instructions.
• Assist with visitor management and communication during operations and escalated events.
