Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for Patrol and Access Control in Sparks, NV. You will safeguard a technology data center, monitor access points, and conduct patrols to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include reporting incidents, maintaining logs, and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders. A guard card and CPR/First Aid are preferred; HS diploma required. Join a team committed to integrity and service.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal may consider applicants with criminal histories where permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor and report access-control concerns, visitor activity, alarm conditions, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
