Caterpillar Inc. seeks a highly motivated Drivetrain Control Systems Engineering Specialist to join IDES, supporting construction drivetrain controls design and validation. Lead NTI software development, validation planning, and technology transformation for robust, scalable drivetrain solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering curriculum.
• Experience with NTI processes and software-enabled product capabilities is preferred.
• Strong systems engineering and validation planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead NTI software development for drivetrain applications, including requirements and verification.
• Develop drivetrain control solutions for transmissions, torque converters, brakes and sensors.
• Own validation planning and execution across simulation, bench and machine environments.
• Drive technology transformation projects to modernize controls and workflows.
• Coordinate with global teams for design reviews, releases, and validation.
