The role emphasizes customer-facing leadership, accurate project estimation, and delivering on-time, manufacturable designs for transfer cases and axle disconnect systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Mechanical preferred.
• 5–8 years in automotive engineering or technical project management.
• Experience leading cross-functional product development through validation and launch.
• Experience with drivetrain systems such as transfer cases or axle disconnects.
• Strong customer-facing communication and leadership across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface to the customer for assigned drivetrain programs.
• Lead cross-functional technical product development activities for mechanical drivetrain products.
• Coordinate engineering activities across design, software, electrical hardware, validation, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and suppliers.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project timing, deliverables, risks, issues, and action items.
• Provide change management and problem resolution leadership for technical changes.
• Prepare and present project status and technical summaries to leadership and customers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve execution and satisfaction.
