Job summary

BorgWarner Drivetrain and Morse Systems (DMS) is seeking an Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to lead development and launch of drivetrain solutions at the Propulsion Technical Center in Auburn Hills, MI. You will manage cross-functional teams across mechanical, software, and electrical disciplines, delivering on time and to customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional product development activities through validation and launch.
• Strong mechanical product development experience for drivetrain systems.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of APQP and Automotive SPICE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface to the customer for assigned drivetrain programs.
• Lead cross-functional technical product development activities for mechanical drivetrain products.
• Coordinate engineering activities across design, systems, software, electrical, validation, and manufacturing teams.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate project timing, deliverables, risks, issues, and actions.
• Provide change management and problem resolution leadership.
• Support project estimates and budget forecasting.
• Prepare and present clear project status and technical summaries to leadership and customers.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that improve execution and satisfaction.
• Foster teamwork and resolve conflicts constructively.
