Job summary

Bosch Group in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead acquisition and production projects in the eMotor/eAxle domain for North America customers.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risks, ensure on-time launches, and collaborate with plants on safe change management. Travel approximately 20% is required. PMP preferred; automotive electromechanical launches a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of project management experience launching automotive products into production.
• Experience leading global cross-functional project teams (engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing).
• Experience interfacing directly with customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project/program teams for production projects with focus on launch and after SOP activities.
• Ensure project KPIs: on-time, on-spec, on-quality, on-budget/profit, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with plant functions to ensure safe launch and change management; travel to plant as needed.
• Drive risk definition and mitigation, problem solving, and resource management.
• Manage schedules and issues to closure, with escalation where required.
