Job summary

Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) is seeking drivers for Champaign, Aurora, Kankakee, Harvard and Princeville surrounding areas to support CHP's Mobile Clinic and patient transport needs.

You will deliver packages, transport clients to appointments, assist with outreach events, and perform front office support as needed. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and available for nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL license.
• Experience transporting clients and packages between Health Center sites.
• Clean driving record and safety-conscious demeanor.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a route log daily, mileage records, patient log, repair records and the like.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, meets state requirements, fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs in collaboration with the lead driver.

Job description

Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) is a FQHC 501 c 3 nonprofit organization seeking drivers for Champaign, Aurora, Kankakee, Harvard and Princeville surrounding areas. Duties include, but are not limited to; delivering packages from site to site, transportation patients to and from home and back to CHP medical appointments, support medical outreach and education in a timely manner and providing front office support as needed. The driver is responsible for operating the CHP 40 ft., Mobile Clinic by arriving early to outreach events getting the Mobile clinic ready for patient care. Drivers may be required to work nights and weekends to support outreach activities. The ideal candidate should have a clean driving record, be detailed oriented and safety conscious.
