Job summary

Community Health Partnership of Illinois (CHP) is seeking drivers for Champaign, Aurora, Kankakee, Harvard and Princeville surrounding areas to support CHP's Mobile Clinic and patient transport needs.

You will deliver packages, transport clients to appointments, assist with outreach events, and perform front office support as needed. Candidates should have a clean driving record, be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and available for nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL license.
• Experience transporting clients and packages between Health Center sites.
• Clean driving record and safety-conscious demeanor.
• Ability to work nights and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Must have a CDL license.
• Transport clients and packages to and from Health Center sites.
• Transport clients/patients to and from CHP's medical appointments.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule and support Outreach team at community events.
• Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups.
• Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays.
• Use navigation applications to determine the best route.
• Maintain a route log daily, mileage records, patient log, repair records and the like.
• Always interact with clients professionally.
• Ensure that the vehicle is always clean, meets state requirements, fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs in collaboration with the lead driver.
