Job summary

Heartland Health Services seeks a Medical Services Driver to safely operate and transport the Mobile Health Unit to community and rural locations. This full-time role includes providing timely courier services between HHS sites, storage facilities, vendors, and partners, four days weekly, with one day for courier tasks.

The position requires an Illinois Class C license, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Illinois class C license required.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Own vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate and transport the Mobile Health Unit and assist with patient care delivery.
• Perform safety inspections and document vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain a clean vehicle interior and exterior.
• Provide courier services, lab deliveries, and supplies to sites.
• Serve as security presence at community events.
• Ensure compliance with laws and confidentiality; participate in policy development.
• Attend staff meetings and maintain confidentiality.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to optimize patient-centered services.
