Job description

Position Purpose

The Non‑CDL Driver for Heritage Pool is responsible for operating a vehicle for transporting goods, products, or materials to various destinations without the need for a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a non‑CDL vehicle ensuring all products, goods, or materials are transported to their destinations.
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections and report any discrepancies.
• Load and unload vehicle as required.
• Follow delivery schedule and communicate any delays or issues promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service during the delivery and pick‑up operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of all transport and vehicle maintenance.

Direct Manager and Reports

Reports directly to the Logistics Manager or Transportation Supervisor. This position has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements

Daily local travel with occasional long‑distance travel.

Physical Requirements

Regular physical activity including lifting, loading and unloading goods and long hours of driving. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Drivers will work in a variety of weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Familiarity with navigation systems.
• Proficiency in English for safety communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous driving or logistics experience.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Minimum Education

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Education

Vocational or technical degree in transportation or related field.

Minimum Years of Work Experience

1–2 years of relevant driving experience.

Certifications

No required certifications, but First Aid, CPR, or Safety Training certifications are advantageous.
