Job summary

MTM Transit in partnership with the City of Tracy is hiring Full Time CDL Drivers to join our Tracy, California team. You will provide safe and reliable transportation and deliver excellent customer service while assisting passengers with loading and mobility devices.

We offer competitive pay at $27.00 per hour, paid training, benefits including medical, dental and vision, overtime, holidays and PTO, a 401(k) with company match, and clear opportunities for internal growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid California Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements
• No more than 6 points on driving record within the last 4 years
• No misdemeanor convictions; No DWI/DUI convictions
• Must pass criminal background check investigation & Motor Vehicle record check
• Must provide a resume with a minimum of 10 years work history

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation
• Demonstrate excellent defensive driving skills
• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading from vehicle
• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safety protocols
• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop off of the customer
• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities
• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required
• Complete paperwork as required
• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
