Job summary

MTM Transit in Lake Isabella, CA is hiring a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation in partnership with Kern Transit. You will demonstrate defensive driving, ensure customer service excellence, and assist passengers and mobility devices according to DOT/ADA standards.

Requirements include a California CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and passing a DOT medical exam and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must hold valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving as a core skill.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading from the vehicle.
• Assist with mobility devices and safety procedures.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off of customers.
• Complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections; document as required.
• Operate tablets or electronic devices as part of daily workflow.

The **Driver** will ensure the customer and client receive the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism.
