Job summary

Penske is seeking a Driver Hiring Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. You will source, interview, and hire professional truck drivers for Penske Logistics, acting as the face of the company to candidates. The role supports US/Canada operations and requires two in-office days per week in Phoenix.

You will manage the full lifecycle, from sourcing to offers, including scheduling road tests and background checks, while maintaining compliance and delivering a high-touch candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• Experience interviewing and hiring in a call center or customer-facing retail environment.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, internet search, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Source and manage driver leads via calls, email, social media, resumes, and referrals.
• Present value proposition and available driver opportunities to candidates.
• Capture and manage driver information in lead capture system (Salesforce).
• Take phone applications and ensure accuracy per DOT requirements.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screening, and road test scheduling.
