Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Driver Recruiter (Talent Consultant) to build and support a professional driver workforce for a private fleet serving North American operations. You will source, screen, and place Class A CDL drivers, aligning staffing with DOT guidelines and business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Experience with multiple applicant tracking systems.
• Ability to manage large candidate pools and openings effectively.
• Understanding of the trucking industry and DOT/FMCSA requirements.
• Proven collaboration across recruiters, managers and leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and attract diverse candidates through databases and outreach.
• Develop staffing strategies to meet hiring needs.
• Manage open requisitions with timely updates.
• Screen and interview applicants per DOT guidelines.
• Maintain ATS data with accurate coding and status updates.
• Partner with hiring managers to align on staffing and onboarding.
• Collaborate with recruiters and external contacts for strategy.
