Western Express, Inc. is seeking an operations-focused leader to oversee driver teams and coordinate shipments across our nationwide network. This role requires hands-on communication with drivers, cross-functional collaboration, and a commitment to safety and timeliness.

You will monitor freight progress, resolve on-road issues, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency and service quality within a fast-paced environment.

• Proven leadership and management experience in a transportation setting.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to address operational challenges.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Maintain daily communication with your assigned team of drivers to promote efficient operations and ensure productivity.
• Monitor shipments and ensure all freight is delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support companywide initiatives and achieve organizational objectives.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with drivers, serving as their primary point of contact for on-road concerns, resolving issues and supporting their growth.
• Clearly communicate safety expectations and ensure drivers adhere to all applicable DOT regulations.
• Proactively track freight shipments, monitor delivery progress, and address potential delays to ensure on-time delivery within established timeframes.
