Job summary

AFC Tranaport is seeking a Driver Success Manager to lead and support a fleet of 30–45 flatbed drivers, building real relationships and ensuring they’re earning well, staying safe, and actually want to stay with the company.

In this people-first leadership role, you’ll partner with Dispatch, Customer Service, and Safety to optimize load planning, monitor KPIs, coach drivers, and keep safety and compliance at the forefront.

Qualifications

Experience in fleet management, driver relations, or transportation operations.
People skills and the ability to communicate with drivers.
Strong knowledge of HOS, DOT compliance, and TMS systems (McLeod preferred).
Data-driven mindset with a people-first approach.
Ability to juggle 30+ driver relationships while keeping details tight.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach a fleet of 30–45 flatbed drivers with daily check-ins.
Monitor RPM, gross revenue, MPG, and other KPIs to keep performance on track.
Work with Dispatchers to optimize load planning, preplans, and driver availability.
Run monthly performance reviews to celebrate wins and address gaps.
Keep McLeod TMS records: ETAs, PTAs, HOS, maintenance, the works.
Review Samsara data for safety, fuel, and compliance.
Coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
Be the driver’s voice when working with Dispatch, Customer Service, and Safety.
