Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Shuttle Driver for evening shifts at 80 Blossom Street in Boston, MA. This part-time role (25 hours per week) safely transports patients and staff, following dispatcher guidance and established routes.

Responsibilities include operating shuttle vehicles, keeping logs, assisting passengers (including those with disabilities), and reporting any issues to supervision. Prior driving experience and CDL endorsements are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• CDL with Air Brake Endorsement and Passenger Endorsement required/to be obtained.
• DOT medical card required.

Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle bus and coach-type vehicles safely.
• Follow established routes and schedules; report detours or delays to dispatch.
• Maintain accurate logs of passengers, trips, mileage and inspections.
• Assist passengers with disabilities and boarding/alighting.
• Report emergencies or vehicle issues to Supervisor/Dispatcher.

Safely transports passengers to various destinations while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Adheres to assignments in accordance with scheduled shuttle routes prepared by the Manager, Supervisor, and/or Dispatcher. Reports to the Supervisor of Transportation (or to a designated individual in the Supervisor's absence). Does this position require Patient Care? Provide safe, courteous, and professional service to passengers while en route to/from destinations. Follow established routes and departure times.
