Job summary

Western Flyer Xpress seeks a detail-oriented Driver Settlement Specialist to process weekly settlements, calculate compensation, and ensure accuracy per contracts. You will manage driver payments and deductions with precision.

Collaborate with HR, Safety, Operations, Billing, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and generate settlement reports. A high school diploma and AS/400/Excel experience are required, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience processing driver settlements or related transportation support preferred.
• Experience with AS/400 or similar enterprise systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong Excel and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly driver settlements accurately and on schedule in accordance with company policies, driver agreements, and contractual requirements.
• Calculate driver compensation based on mileage, percentage pay, and other approved compensation structures.
• Review and process deductions, advances, settlement holds, and releases with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Interpret driver contracts and agreements to apply compensation terms, benefits, and authorized deductions.
• Coordinate with HR, Safety, Operations, Billing, Imaging, EFS, and other departments to ensure accurate driver setup and settlement processing.
• Investigate and resolve driver compensation discrepancies and account issues timely and effectively.
• Generate, review, and analyze settlement reports to verify accuracy and support decisions.
• Maintain and coordinate department email inboxes for timely responses and proper documentation.
