Job summary

Werner Enterprises in California is seeking a fleet management professional to build and sustain driver relationships, address home time, payroll, and equipment issues, and work with multiple teams to optimize loads and ensure service levels.

You will coordinate with Dedicated Logistics Managers, align with customer expectations, and support operations to maintain a full driver board while ensuring reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics preferred.
• Two to three years of fleet management or transportation experience preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships to meet driver needs (home time, payroll, equipment issues, etc.).
• Partner with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Align with customer dynamics and Werner’s service expectations to improve value.
• Interface with billing, vans, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Work with Management to fill and maintain a full board of drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Dedicated Logistics Manager.
• Maintain timely and regular attendance per shift.
