Job summary

Werner Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a logistics operations professional in California who will build and maintain strong driver relationships by addressing needs such as home time, payroll, and equipment issues.

The role collaborates with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads and coordinates with billing, safety, and maintenance teams to ensure reliable service and driver satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Marketing or Transportation/Logistics, and/or 2–3 years of fleet management or truckload transportation experience preferred.
• Six months to one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain driver relationships by addressing home time, payroll, and equipment issues.
• Collaborate with Dedicated and Associate Logistics Managers to optimize driver loads.
• Interface with billing, customer service, risk, safety, payroll, fuel, maintenance, and vendors.
• Fill and maintain a full board of drivers with the Managers.
• Ensure timely and regular attendance according to shift schedules.
