Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment of CDL drivers and transportation personnel. You will source candidates through job boards, social platforms, referrals, and community events, and conduct thorough screening to ensure cultural fit and qualifications.

The role requires coordinating interviews, maintaining ATS records, and partnering with operations and onboarding teams to meet staffing needs across multiple locations. Travel up to 30% is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years recruiting/sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience recruiting CDL drivers or transportation personnel.
• Ability to travel up to 30% to various locations.
• Associates degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting for CDL, non-CDL, and driver trainee positions.
• Source candidates through job boards and platforms, social media, employee referrals, community outreach, and networking.
• Conduct phone screens to evaluate qualifications, experience, availability, and interest; verify CDL requirements and driving history.
• Coordinate interviews between candidates and operations leaders; manage communications and ATS records.
• Work with onboarding teams to ensure timely pre-employment screening and onboarding processes.
