TRANCASA USA, INC is seeking a Recruiter to screen and hire CDL drivers in the El Paso area. You will manage candidate databases, post ads, review applications, and coordinate interviews, road tests, and onboarding.

You’ll collaborate with Safety and Operations to ensure compliant hiring and accurate records. The role requires at least a High School Diploma and 2 years of recruiting experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.

Summary

This position is responsible for screening and selecting candidates for driving positions. Essential work duties are maintaining candidate databases, selecting potential candidates, organizing interviews, reviewing online application, posting recruitment ads to job boards, and maintaining contact with candidates during the recruitment process.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Recruit qualified CDL drivers (Local, Regional, OTR) according to operational needs.


• Contact and pre-screen candidates to verify experience, license type, and basic qualifications.


• Schedule interviews, road tests, and required evaluations.


• Coordinate candidate approvals with Safety and Operations.


• Ensure all driver qualification files comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.


• Maintain accurate and complete records in ATS, TMW, or other systems.


• Ensure new hires complete required paperwork, training, and acknowledgments.


• Create job postings using approved networks.


• Determine whether candidates meet the Company standards and guidelines by examining drivers' employment history, motor vehicle reports, and licensing classifications.


• Conduct interviews with candidates via phone and in person.


• Responsible for hiring process of CDL Drivers


• Participate in offsite recruiting such as job fairs and travel to CDL schools to engage potential candidates.


• Structured and maintained detailed records of all activity as a recruiter


• Assist in driver’s orientation.


• Complete drivers hiring information.


• Other duties as assigned.
