Job summary

Hub Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Driver Manager to lead a fleet of 30-35 company drivers. You will oversee day-to-day execution, drive service, safety, utilization, and retention, and conduct regular performance reviews to develop corrective action plans.

You will mentor drivers in tools like Omnitracs, ensure FMCSA compliance, manage schedules, and collaborate with load planning to improve productivity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading driver teams and conducting performance reviews.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety compliance.
• Ability to train and mentor drivers for success.

Responsibilities

• Manages driver performance by setting expectations and conducting regular reviews.
• Accountable for safety, regulatory performance, and corrective action plans.
• Resolve issues with assigned drivers and ensure driver retention.
• Ensure FMCSA compliance (HOS, drug testing, licensing).
• Mentor drivers on tools and payroll processes, including Omnitracs.
• Track driver schedules, time off, and vacations; monitor utilization.
• Coordinate with load planning to improve productivity and loads execution.
• Support load planning in re-planning and recovery of loads.
