Job summary

United Road in Elwood, IL is seeking a Driver Manager to oversee a fleet of drivers and ICs, ensuring safety, service, productivity, and retention while coordinating with Fleet, HR, and Safety teams.

You will conduct regular performance reviews, resolve payroll issues, mentor drivers on tools like Pedigree and Magnus Driver App, and ensure FMCSA compliance. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years' applicable experience are preferred; on-site workplace with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible related work experience.
• Strong proficiency with Excel and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manages driver performance by setting expectations and conducting regular reviews.
• Ensures safety and regulatory compliance across FMCSA requirements.
• Tracks driver utilization, payroll issues, and service quality; collaborates with HR and Safety.
