Job summary

Integral Senior Living seeks a Driver to transport residents safely to activities and appointments in Loveland, CO. You will assist residents, secure wheelchairs, and maintain vehicles in good condition.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 21+, and preferably hold a CDL with a safe driving record, plus experience in customer service in a senior living setting. We offer competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with acceptable driving record per DOT regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and compliance with safety measures.
• Organization and time-management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to/from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license renewal processes.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per-trip basis.

Driver

Driver Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing timely and courteous transportation for the residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.
