Job summary

Integral Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide timely transportation for residents to activities, appointments, and events at our Community in Pflugerville, Texas.

The role requires a high school diploma, being 21+, and a valid CDL may be required with an acceptable driving record. Experience in customer service, especially in a senior living setting, and a commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• CDL may be required with a valid driving record in line with Federal DOT rules.
• Experience in customer service, preferably in senior living.
• Knowledge of safety precautions and following safety measures.
• Strong organization and time-management across priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs to restraining devices during trips.
• Operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicles with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewals.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition monthly and per trip.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing timely and courteous transportation for the residents to and from various activities while providing quality service.
• Assists disabled passengers into and out of vehicle.
• Secures passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Safely operates radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Maintains all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Cleans and services vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assists with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspects and documents vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis. ****

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal Department of Transportation regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting. ****
