Job summary

Integral Senior Living in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Driver to provide reliable transportation for residents to activities and events. You will assist residents, operate vehicles, and help maintain fleet safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications include a CDL-B, a clean driving record, and experience in a customer service setting, ideally in senior living. This on-site role offers full-time hours and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class B License with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Federal DOT regulations.
• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from activities.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Safely operate radio, cell phone or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain all community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plate renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
