Venture Logistics, LLC is seeking a Driver Manager to serve as the liaison between drivers and the company, ensuring efficiency, safety, and policy compliance. The role oversees driver performance, planning, and communication to achieve enterprise goals.

You will coach drivers, manage load plans, and collaborate with planners to optimize routes while maintaining accurate records and safe practices across the fleet.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in transportation or logistics experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and fleet software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build trust-based relationships with assigned drivers.
• Monitor driver performance metrics (revenue, miles, MPG, on-time delivery).
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; initiate disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure clear weekly plans and load assignments for productivity.
• Maintain confidential records per policy and training.
• Coordinate with Planners, CSRs, and Load Planners for route optimization.
• Communicate delays and service issues to stakeholders.
• Monitor ETAs and driver statuses in real-time.
• Ensure DOT regulations and safety protocols are followed.
• Onboard and orient new drivers, set expectations.
