Job summary

Southeast Behavioral Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Technician to support in Cape Girardeau, MO. The role involves transporting patients and delivering routine mental health care in a compassionate, structured setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, documenting changes in patient behavior, and participating in group activities while engaging with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Class E Driver's License preferred or obtained within time-frame upon hire.
• Experience: One year of driving a van-type vehicle preferred; six months in a mental health setting preferred.

• Provide trauma-informed and age-specific care; maintain therapeutic boundaries and use crisis intervention techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS:
