Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in transportation, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years in transportation or logistics management preferred.
• Previous experience managing drivers or logistics operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support drivers in day-to-day operations.
• Manage driver-related functions, including vacation and home time scheduling, employee relations, and claims handling.
• Coordinate the utilization of JBS trucks in relation to the daily schedule and ensure efficient delivery operations.
• Monitor driver performance and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee driver adherence to safety protocols and DOT regulations; facilitate coaching and safety training sessions.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Create and adjust driver schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
• Serve as primary point of contact for driver concerns and build strong driver relationships.
