Job summary

Venture Logistics in the United States is seeking a Driver Manager to serve as the primary liaison between the company and its professional drivers, ensuring operational efficiency, driver satisfaction, and compliance with company policy.

The role oversees a fleet, coaches drivers, tracks performance metrics, and partners with Planners and Load Planners to optimize routes, safety, and on-time delivery. Strong leadership, communication, and DOT regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ year of experience in transportation or logistics.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with assigned drivers to understand goals and challenges.
• Monitor driver performance metrics including revenue, miles, MPG, on-time delivery, and safety.
• Provide coaching and disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Ensure drivers have clear weekly plans and load assignments to maximize productivity.
• Maintain driver documentation and ensure DOT compliance.
