Job summary

Paper Transport in De Pere, WI is seeking an influential Driver Manager to lead a team of drivers, focus on on-time service, MPG results, and retention, and build a strong partnership with the customer.

You will coach drivers on safety and performance, dispatch freight, and collaborate with planners and customer service to meet expectations while ensuring compliance and a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• High School or better in General.
• Associates or better in Business Administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, routes, and service to ensure highest quality of customer service and safety.
• Build strong relationships with driver team through integrity and accountability.
• Safely dispatch drivers and freight according to company policy and federal guidelines.
• Conduct regular coaching on KPIs including safety, performance, and equipment maintenance.
• Assist planners in reworking freight and managing change communication.
• Respond to customer needs by answering emails, phone calls, tracking freight, and load recovery.

This role is located onsite in our De Pere, WI office.
