Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a professional truck driver in the United States to transport products from the warehouse to customers while upholding safety standards. You will handle loading and unloading, complete required paperwork, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.

The role requires effective communication and reliability, with overnight, weekend, and holiday availability as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and insurability.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver products to customers, loading and unloading per specifications.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety protocols where applicable and ensure proper temperature control.
• Operate equipment safely, including pallets, load bars, and load carts.
• Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Report route deviations, equipment issues, or customer concerns to management.
• Maintain regular attendance and flexibility to work outside typical hours as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; tractor-trailer driving experience preferred or completion of driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and hazard guidelines.
• Ability to drive in various conditions, communicate effectively, and solve problems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and perform basic math and organizational tasks.

Work Environment:

Exposure to different weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and occasional confined spaces. Requires working overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
