Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a professional driver to safely transport and deliver products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries according to company standards.

Responsibilities include operating tractor-trailer units, completing paperwork, maintaining safety and sanitary standards, developing customer relationships, and reporting issues to management. Overnight shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Class A CDL required; insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.

Key Duties

• Operate tractor-trailer units and unload products using appropriate equipment in all weather conditions.
• Complete paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Maintain food safety and sanitary standards in vehicles and warehouse.
• Develop customer relationships through courteous service and effective communication.
• Report route, trailer, or product issues to management and ensure proper handling of damaged goods and returns.
• Adhere to safety protocols, operate equipment properly, and follow company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; tractor trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety practices, and handling hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate large vehicles, communicate effectively, solve problems, and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and work in various environments.

Work Environment: Involves driving in diverse conditions, occasional exposure to extreme weather, mechanical parts, and airborne particles. Requires flexibility for overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime to meet customer needs.
