Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is hiring a professional long-haul truck driver to transport products via tractor-trailer from our warehouse to customer locations across multiple states. You will ensure timely deliveries while upholding safety and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, completing paperwork, maintaining equipment, and building strong relationships with customers. A valid Class A CDL, HS diploma, and at least 1 year of experience are preferred.

Job description

Role: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer from the warehouse to customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with safety and food safety standards.

• Responsibilities: Load and unload products, complete all required paperwork accurately, adhere to safety protocols, operate equipment safely, develop good customer relationships, communicate route or delivery issues, and work flexible schedules to meet customer needs.
• Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (or completion of tractor-trailer driving school), valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, and at least 1 year of driving experience preferred.
• Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of DOT and Hazmat regulations, proficient driving skills over long distances and varied conditions, effective communication, problem-solving, basic math skills, and ability to operate heavy equipment and onboard computer.
• Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform physical tasks such as climbing and pushing, and work in diverse environments including hot, cold, and noisy conditions. Overtime and irregular hours are required to meet operational needs.
