Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver products to customers, unload items, and maintain proper documentation and safety protocols.

You'll operate tractor-trailers and other vehicles, unload using carts, and complete paperwork accurately while fostering strong customer relationships. Flexibility for overnight and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Class A CDL required.
• Knowledge of DOT and hazmat guidelines.
• Experience with tractor-trailer driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers and other vehicles in DOT and safety-compliant manner.
• Unload products by hand or with carts; place items in designated storage while maintaining sanitation.
• Complete paperwork, logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and timely.
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous and clear communication.
• Follow safety procedures and operate equipment such as onboard computers and hand carts.

Role:

Delivery Driver responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to customers, unloading items according to specifications, and maintaining proper documentation and safety protocols.

• Operate tractor-trailers and other vehicles, including straight trucks, ensuring adherence to DOT and safety regulations.
• Unload products by hand or using carts, placing items in designated customer storage areas while maintaining sanitation and food safety standards.
• Complete paperwork, logs, inspections, and invoices accurately and timely.
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous and clear communication.
• Follow safety procedures, handle hazardous materials, and operate equipment such as onboard computers and hand carts.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, with preferred tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school; valid Class A CDL license; knowledge of DOT and hazmat guidelines.

• Skills include safe long-distance driving, effective communication, problem-solving, and basic math.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy loads, and perform load/unload tasks in various weather conditions.
• Capable of working independently, organizing activities, and maintaining alertness during driving.

Work Environment:

Occasional exposure to extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, and confined spaces, with moderate noise levels. Must be flexible to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and start at various times.
