Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Education and experience must be in instruction, training, customer service, driving work or a related field.
• License/Certification: Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provides first-rate customer service by administering driving skills examinations for licensing.
• Qualifies or disqualifies applicants based on examination results and documents findings.
• Ensures applicants understand knowledge and vision requirements before testing.
• Assists with questions at the counter and reviews application materials for accuracy.
• Operates DMV computer systems and maintains office, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintains facility readiness and notifies management of issues.
