The Colorado Department of Revenue’s Driver License Office Manager oversees daily DLO operations, ensuring compliance and service quality at the Alamosa office. The role leads staff, manages performance evaluations, and reallocates resources to maximize efficiency.

The position requires five years in a public-facing supervisory role, with education in management/public administration and a DLF certification path.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience in a public-facing customer service supervisory or managerial role.
• Combination of related education in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or equivalent experience equal to five years.
• Driver License Fundamentals (DLF) certification training within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of the Driver License Office (DLO).
• Develops New Performance Plan and evaluations (quarterly, mid-year, final).
• Adjust resources and personnel for maximum effectiveness.
• Handles and resolves customer complaints.
• Processes complicated or more difficult applications.
• Operates as floor lead and monitors workflow and schedules.
• Performs accounting duties including deposits and cashiering.
• May travel to another DLO to assist operations.
