Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Driver License Examiner to support safe driving through fair and accurate testing at the York Driver License Center. You will help applicants understand the rules of the road and prepare for responsible driving, delivering courteous customer service and accurate licensing decisions.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or

Responsibilities

• Assess driving ability, physical qualifications, and vision results
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical readiness and proper equipment
• Review identity, residency, and citizenship records for authenticity
• Complete applications, test results, and issue license products
• Provide guidance on renewals, transfers, and specialty license requirements
• Follow all policies for customer service, REAL ID, fee waivers, and Title VI
