Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title) or two years of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

Responsibilities

• Applicant evaluation: determine readiness and vehicle condition for safe operation.
• Knowledge testing: administer written examinations on Vehicle Code and traffic signs.
• Driving tests: conduct pre-trip inspections and road tests for non-commercial license applicants.
• Document review: examine applications, registrations, and permits for errors or potential fraud.
• Vision screening: perform vision tests including telebinocular and color perception.
• Customer service: follow policies and accurately apply fee waiver guidelines.
